WELCOME to the Jefferson County Regional Youth Symphony web site.

The Jefferson County Regional Youth Symphony was founded to provide young musicians throughout the greater Jefferson County area, an opportunity to explore their talents and discover symphonic and classical music in a professional setting.

The youth symphony is for violin, viola, cello and double bass string musicians, ages seven to eighteen. 

The Jefferson County Regional Youth Symphony was founded in February 2004 as a nonprofit corporation in the State of Missouri and it is a publicly supported organization.
